The crash is actually in vsfilter.dll (direct vobsub).
What ogm splitter are you using? Also what version of vsfilter?

I had "VoBsub" installed...i uninstalled it and now it works!?!?!?!

I have the OGG DirectShow Filters installed..the matroska pack and the ace codecs pack installed.

it works now..but without the VobSub wont i have problems trying to put subtitles in the dvds?

When I installed the matroska pack, and already had vobsub installed, they conflicted, and crashed tmpegenc. I was tearing my hair out with this one. I fixed it by uninstalling the matroska pack, and reinstalling, but unchecking the vsfilter option on install. It did the trick, though I don't know if this is exactly your problem. Good luck.

Best way to get subs in TMPGEnc is to use ffdshow for video decoding and enable subs in it since direct vobsub doesn't seem to work 100%.
