    Hi,

Since today, My PC only shows my DVD in B/W.

The same DVDs I was looking in color yesterday, today look only B/W.

    What's happenning ?

    I 'm talking about a DVD-ROM not a standard external DVD player.

So, I guess the problem is with my PC, or my video card.

    I didn't change any settings.

What software are you playing the DVDs in ?

SOMETHING must have changed in regards to settings if the exact same DVD WAS playing in color and is NOW playing in B&W. AFAIK most PCs don't have AI yet
    If in doubt, Google it.

Even I'm having the same problem.

But mine is with the TV. When DVD player is connected to the TV....everything is b& W and there is no sound. Connections are pretty fine. After turning off the TV, the TV screen appears a kind of blue and green color and then disappears. Is it affecting the TV?

    What cud be the reason?

Jim i suppose there COULD be an issue with video card / drivers going to the place where gremlins play with them....

But that would mean that something has changed !! :P :P

Is the rest of your screen and apps in full colour as normal?
Is it only specific DVD's or all of them?
Have you tried a different media player? (PowerDVD, WMP etc etc)
Do the discs play properly in a standalone player?

    and

any other info u think might be helpful?

If you were saying that this problem was in a standalone player, i would say that somehow the thing is deciding to only recognise PAL instead of NTSC (or vica versa) for whatever reason.
As far as I am aware PC's dont have this issue.
