    Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with a problem I am having concerning the installation of ffmpegx. I followed the instructions off the website to the letter but the codecs I downloaded from the sites they gave did not work for me. I get an error message that reads "##cp: /Library/Application Support/ffmpegX/mpeg2enc: No such file or directory" I have tried several times and each time I receive the same error. It also happens when I try to locate the mplayer and mencoder.

Have I missed a step or do I need other codecs that read the mpeg2, mplayer, and mencoder? Like I said I followed the instructions given off the website but for some reason it just will not recognize them.

I would really appreciate any help you can offer.

    Thanks so much.

    Kate

  2. Create manually the following folders then reinstall,

    /Library/Application Support/ffmpegX
    /usr/local
    /usr/local/share

I'm getting the same error when I try to install. I tried manually creating those folders, but that didn't change anything. Any other ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
