  1. Hi all,

I've just found this bit software (SUPER) & i think it looks really gud.

I'm havin a bit trouble tho & wonder if sum1 could help me..

When im convertin 2 vob from avi, it only converts about 70-100 meg worth & then just stops. So it only does a bit of the file, can any 1 tell me if i need to select another option or can any 1 diect me to a forum about this software...

    Thanks y'all

  2. Super what? or is that the whole name? or Super just your rating of it?

So it looks like it is really good but it doesn't work?

Myself I just use TMPGEnc Xpress to convert avi to DVD and TMPGEnc DVD Author to Author the DVD or I could use DVD Santa since it will convert and author in one step.

My perception is that The TMPGEnc route give better conversion but the DVD Santa is much quicker if I don't mind one title per DVD.

    Cheers

  4. Ok, got it.
From the Tools section: for SUPER
    Tool features, Convert:
AVI to 3GP, AVI to H264, AVI to MP4, DivX to 3GP, DivX to H264, DivX to MP4, MPG to 3GP, MPG to H264, MPG to MP4, VOB to 3GP, VOB to H264, VOB to MP4, XviD to 3GP, XviD to H264, XviD to MP4

It could be a problem because as I read the above, the opening poster wants to convert from avi to VOB. To Quote "When im convertin 2 vob from avi, it only converts about 70-100 meg worth"

In which case other software would probably be a better choice. I had mentioned DVD Santa but of course it isn't free....Hmmm... free...

Free show as Avi2Dvd, DIKO, DVD2SVCD, The FilmMachine, are all freebies. But I haven't tried them myself. I did use DVD Santa to convert something that nothing else touched... But only after I tried the trial version to be sure it worked.

    Good Luck

  5. SUPER, Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer.

this is the full name of the software (even tho u hav worked that out by now) Sorry 4 not mentionen it at first.

I've tried a few different bits of software, Avi2Dvd, Cucusoft AVI to VCD/DVD, DIKO, DVD2SVCD, WinAVI Video Converter & TMPG Enc.

But i've been usin VSO DivXToDVD & TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert my avi's but i heard about SUPER & thought i would giv it a go.... So i was wonderin if any 1 knew how to use this...

I think i might try that DVDSanta, cheers
