i have 2 dvds that i want to join, each one is about 2.5 gigs.
i know i can do this with dvd remake pro but the menu it creates its so plain. is there a method that allows me to create a custom menu that gives acess to the 2 dvds? i want to preserve the original dvds menus.

lets say i join the two dvds with dvd remake, would it be possible two create a menu in dvd lab and then replace the one dvdremake created by the one i created?

    thanks

  2. There is a forum for DVDRemake, take a look at the DVDRemake website and you should be able to pick up a link from there.
You may get a better response from there but who knows ?
    It's worth a shot.

  5. Excellent, nice to see you found the answer and post it for others to see.
I for one will probably take a look at that because I use DVDRemake and it may be of use to me sometime.

    Thanks

  7. It's a good idea and maybe the mods should look at installing some method of seeing when a problem is solved to make it easier for others to find.

  10. If the only thing you want to customize is the text DvdReMake Pro puts by default on start-up menu then another option is to use "replace background" feature added in 3.1.

    1. Just download needed background image from download page: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/download.php
    2. Edit it in any bitmap editor (for example standard Windows Paint) to add new text.
    3. Encode it to vob with muxman.
    4. Open start-up menu of the merged project in DvdReMake Pro; right-click in it and "replace with still..."

    That is it.
