Dear Pals...
I'm very happy now because I can edit my VHS tapes and some videos using my new bridge/converter - Canopus 300.
I've got even happier with the possibility of watching the FCP sequences on a regular TV (using the Canopus 300) before exporting it as a quicktime movie ou as an MPEG-2 for authoring using DVDSP. But, there is something I just can't achive. I would like, after editing, to export a FCP sequence to be recorded back to my regular VCR. I've tried the "prin to video" command but nothing happens. Do I have to export the sequence as a particular kind of file before doing the "prin to video" or anything else ?
Thanks you all....

1. Hook your Canopus up via FW. Make sure FCP recognizes the canopus.
2. Check FCP's preferences, make sure the Print to Video's settings are
set for Media: Print-->In to Out
3. Try again with video in the timeline, to Print to Video. Is it Printing back to the Canopus and thus to the VCR?
Is the VCR set to recieve a signal on Channel 2/VIDEO 1?
Is Channel2/VIDEO1 recieving it, and what does the VCR
show onto the TV?
if so, then Print to Video to Canopus,
set Canopus to playback out to VCR,
via RCA to VCR to TV Monitor.
Video should be playing on the tv monitor,
if the function is Printing back fine...."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."
