  1. I am using both TMPGENC 2.5 and TMPGENC 3.0 Xpress, and the I am getting the same results. I am trying to convert some anime files, but everytime the frame changes, there are little glitches, like little boxes all over the screen that show up for a split second, then go away. I am trying to figure out if it is the anime files or the encoder, but when I play the anime files on my computer (using WMP) they play fine.
All help regarding this problem is greatly appreciated
    Thanks,
    Dain

Squares ? That's called Macro Blocks or Block Noise. Usually due to too low an encode bit rate. Increase your bit rate and re-encode.

  4. wow something incredibly weird happened, as i was encoding the anime files...i cancelled it, and tried to restart it but using higher rate...and now it says its unsupported. The only thing I did was install WMP 9 and VLC, could that really make it it wouldnt encode the thing it was just doing?

Are you encoding to DVD Specs ? If that's the case, you can't go above 9800 kbps- and keep it around 8500 just to be safe.
