    I have one simple question.
    Will this drive read my dvd-ram discs so I can dump or rip files on my pc recorded from my panasonic dmr-es10 standalone burner???

    It's a discontinued drive, and it looks like it only writes to DVD-RAM media. The other one they recommend costs $200. You can get an LG that reads and writes DVD-RAM discs for cheaper. You can get an LG GSA-4163B for $53.45 USD at NCIX.com.
