Anyone know if Prassi Primo DVD burning software works with a Pioneer
109 ?.
Yes folks it's true. I'm still running on an A03. Prassi came with it.
Old farts change slow.

No, Primo DVD only works with DVD-R format burners, not any of the dual format burners.
The last 2 burners I bought that Primo still worked with were my Pioneer A05s, and Toshiba SD-R5112, both 4x dvd-r only. Primo doesn't work with my NEC 2500, 3500, nor Samsung TS-H552u.
There is a new verson of Primo out, called Prassi Ones. I tested it a little while back in early beta, seemed promising. It's came along way since then, it's worth the demo try out.
You could also use, Record Now Max, Nero, or just use DVD Decrypter to burn images. -
I miss Prassi PrimoDVD myself, but I'm using RecordNow Max 4.5 with the 109 drivers. It's great.

Prassi was like a football. Passed around 100 times.
I think RNM has the prassi engine in it.
I have an attitude problem with Nero. Maybe it's fixed by now but
It sucked for so long that I gave up.
The A03 still works but I have to pay too much attention to getting the right
media and it's only 2X. New burners are dirt cheap so I'm going to get one. It comes with Nero. We will see. -
I got the demo and it works fine on a 109 with latest firmware.
Nero seems to work too - surprise surprise.
As soon as Neuro does something that pisses me off ( other
than the absurd user interface ) , I'll get Prassi. -
For me Disc Copy won't work at all, it crashes before anything happens but Data Mastering works well. I use Prassi ONES for wring from HD to DVD writer only.
