ensure you are using the latest version of dvd decrypter which is 3.5.4.0
Alternatively, try DVDFab Decrypter. -
thanks but that did not work ethir
dvd shrink keeps telling me it can not find the folder
and dvd decrypter keeps telling me it is encrupted with css\cppm
so i have no clue thanks -
dvd decrypter should rip encrypted discs. if you've tried most rippers, then the only other possibility I can mention is that the disc may be faulty/damaged.
Does the dvd play flawlessly in your PC? -

You cannot uncheck decryption within dvd decrypter's option. The dvd will decrypt under all circumstances. thats the whole point of encryption, to prevent copying.

yes it played fine. and dvd decypter tells me that this is strange that this is encrypted. so i really have no clue i got the files on my hard drive and can not get them in to shrink to compress to get to dvdr so thanks for the help

does the dvd have any other copy protections like sony's arrcoss protection?
Did you try DVDFab Decrypter? -
If you are refering to the JACKET_P folder on a DVD then you do not need to decrypt it. The JACKET_P folder is not encrypted. All you have to to do is right click the folder and copy then go to where you want it on your HDD and right click and paste.
There is nothing illegal, until you get caught! -
yes i tryed fab and it worked but know i can not get to open in shrink to get it to fit on a dvd it says can not find vtbs. i'm talking about the movie that is called the jacket

Region 1 ripped just fine with last (now longer latest) dvd decrypter
-
Donno what the problem is or if you're still having it or not, but I've succesfully backed up this movie myself with Decryptor and it went fine. I actually watched my copy the first time I viewed it, perfection.
