For whatever reason, I prefer to save movies on a DVD as mpg files. I
often use ISOBuster to extract and filter just the mpg files and then
join them together with CombiMovie. This method has been working well for me, but...... Two out of three movies on my last burn were not watchable due to rapid vertical roll on the TV. When viewed on the 'puter with Media Player Classic, they looked fine. My DVD player usually plays
anything you stick into it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have a PAL mpeg that differes from the NTSC (American) standard. I've run into this myself a few times, but since my DVD player accepts both types it will play them no problem.
Check your player to see if it has a similar setup, you might be pleasantly surprised . . .
Post back and let us know what you find.
Cheers!

Thanks. That was it. My DVD has PAL, NTSC and Multi. It was set on Multi, which I imagine is supposed to figure out which format to use. I set it to PAL and the TV started rolling like crazy. I had a hell of a time getting it back because it was rolling so fast I couldn't read the menu. Finally got it set to NTSC and they played fine. Thanks for your help.
