    Hiya. I'm brand new to the world of VCD and DVD authoring. I've been trying for days now to burn a VCD using NeroVision Express 2 but during the Burn-to-disc process, the programme seems to just freeze. It continues to show progress (time lapse) but the progress bars are not moving. It looks like the burning process is taking forever but in fact it's not doing anything. I reinstalled Nero, but there was no improvement.

    Any ideas as to what the problem might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Two .avi files captured from my JVC camcorder on Windows Movie Maker. Is that what you mean by "video source"?

    Hope that was the right answer to your question, Baldrick. Are .avi files problematic? Should I convert them to mpeg2?
