Using Nero to burn from RMVB

Hi, I heard you can burn a video disc with Nero express directly using a rmvb file, the trick is to rename .rmvb to .avi, is it doable ? Anyone knows any issues that may have? Thanks.

You can burn anything you want, it is all just data. If you mean converting, then I can see no reason why it wouldn't work since NVE uses dshow for input. Also can't see any reason why you should need to change the file extension. Just need to have Gabest's real media splitter and real codecs on your system. In other words if you can play it back via dshow then NVE should be able to convert it.
