allso if you click on the whats new in rc9b link takes you to a scrambled web page http://www.svcd2dvd.com/Software/WhatsNew/SVCD2DVD.aspx but when you copy and paste into the browser it works good
I can confirm single title fix works good

Looks like the avi is completely broken. Can anyone suggest a tool to view/repair errors in an avi file? (i have heard others talk about such tool/applications)

Yes, should be the full version, I'll up-load the avi tonight Chrissy.
You were right about the first avi I posted about, I've tried to re-encode using other programs and it's been reported as damaged.
Cheers. -
Dave, Have processed your avi with no problems. It is still in that folder - take a look. Are you sure you have the latest FULL version? Can you email me your FULL log?

Problem solved !
Myself and Chris exchanged a few e-mails on this and Chris suggested that it might be a FAT v NTFS issue as FAT /FAT32 cannot cope with files greater than 4Gb in size. Well, I've formatted a partition as NTFS and hey presto, the file converts in full using the autofit function.
There may be another way round this but it has worked so one to bear in mind if anyone's having similar problems.
Thanks Chris and maybe my suggestion to have a 'sliding scale' selector whereby autofit can be extended to reduce the output file to less than 4Gb could be a solution ? -
i keep getting this error when i try to view the mpegdetails of a file.. Can someone tell me how to resolve this

This is nothing to do with SVCD2DVD "RC9B". I will update mpegdetails soon to over come such issues.
