Hey,
I've been converting avi's to svcd for a few years with TMPGenc now and while i had my problems, it always worked out well. I had a pc crash last week and had to reinstall windows. I also reinstalled the codecs (used Codec Pack All in 1 6.0.2.6) and installed ffdshow & ac3 compressor. When i try to open avi's with TMPGenc, but it says 'file can't open or unsupported'. I had this problem before, but i could solve it by changing the priority levels. This doens't work now, and i can't figure out how to get it to work. I have 80gb of avi's on my HD waiting to be converted and burned, so can someone please help me?

Have you adjusted the priority of DirectShow under Enviromental settings ?
Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.
