Tmpgenc Xpress + AC3 plug in doesn't work

I have Tmpgenc + AC 3 plug in but when I encode movie with AC3 audio the output (mpeg2) have noisy sounds or it doesn't have any sound .
Could somebody please tell how can I know if the AC3 plug-in worked ?
If the plug-in doesn't work ,please tell me how can I make it work ?
Any suggestion would be very appreciated

if you are making dvd just use the ac3 from the avi. convert as usual. demux/split the ac3 from the avi with virtualdubmod. add the mpg in tmpgenc dvd author and select the ac3 as audio source!

if you anyway want to convert the ac3 convert it to wav and use in tmpgenc with goldwave.

or

use divxtodvd!
