    G'day all
Cam I possibly rename the Windows folder. For some reason I named it WinXP when I installed the OS. Can I change it to Windows? How do I do it?

  2. I'm not sure that you can. Renaming that particular folder may cause other apps and such to not work since it's looking for it in that particular folder. I could be wrong though.

I believe that the only time that you can select the name of the folder is on initial installation. Once the name is selected, other programs will reference that directory path for their proper operation.

Leave it as it is, unless there is an ESSENTIAL need to rename it. Then you will just have to do a CLEAN install of Windows.
