I'm having a strange problem trying to dub from the HD on my DMR-HS2 to DVD-R. The video on the HD was recorded in XP (dubbed from another DVD-R). I created 3 playlists (3 episodes) and am trying to dub onto DVD-R in FR mode. It gets to the last few minutes and shuts down completely. It goes into Recover mode and the 3rd playlist was never dubbed. The disc is not able to be finalized. Anyone have a clue? I've tried 4 discs, cleaned the lens, reformatted the hard drive and transferred the video again. Nothing works.

I've had that happen a few times. The culprit was always a bad disc. Maybe you got a bad batch. I would try TY or another reliable manufacterer before ruling out the media.
