Nero Vision Express skips :( what now??

Hi,
I created a DVD with background music and animated buttons on nerovision express.. it looks fantastic and is just what i needed but the first 2 chapters jitter slightly when the camera moves from left to right.. the final 3 chapters do not..

I used Neo Dvd to burn a DVD of just the first 2 chapters and that played back fine however you cannot use background music with that..

so any ideas about why these 2 files are skipping would be a great help. Incidently this is a home made video and the file properties of all 5 files are exactly the same so I cannot see a reason for chapters 1 and 2 to skip on both of the DVD's i made using nero visionexpress.

Any other easy (free??) software people recommend if I cannot solve this problem?

i have a deadline to make this DVD and I just cant get anything to work. I got TMPGEnc Authoring program but it doesnt accept Avi's. so i tried to convert using TMPGEnc and it said I had to use TMPGENc Plus.. which i got and now it burns to a m2v file....? whats that?!

I know this is irritating for all the old pro's but i've looked through the other threads and the guides and i cant seem to fix this problem.

add the m2v and the mpa/wav in tmpgenc dvd author.

ok thanks baldrick i will give it a go. ive also found some settings on nerovision express that im playing around with.. hopefully this will work

brilliant! its finished.. i used TMPGEnc DVD author in the end.. bit silly that you have to create a background movie in order to have sound but other than that its excellent.

one more question (last one i promise) I have burnt a disc both where when the chapter is finished it returns to the menu, and it plays the next chapter.. however on both discs i cannot press the menu button on the dvd remote and return back whenever i like.. any idea why? Im looking at you Baldrick.. lol
