I have got a USB 2.0 Logitech webcam, I have got a hotmail account by which I use MSN (latest version 7.0), and I have also got an ADSL line (1200 Mb/s = 150 MB/s).
Few months ago I have used MSN to do a videocall with my brother and all worked fine, in the video frame of videocall I saw on top right corner the screen of my brother and in the bottom right corner I saw the screen of myself (and my brother saw just the other way around).
Last weekend I launched MSN in videocall, but something has gone wrong.
I saw my brother in top right corner but in the bottom right my video was black, and obviously my brother did not see me. Launching the webcam software before, during and after the MSN session, I was capable of watching myself perfectly, so indeed my webcam is working properly.
Although webcam works properly (with ITS OWN software) and send the video stream to Windows, MSN does not succeed "to get" this video stream or however MSN does not succeed "to see" the webcam.
When I open "Webcam Options" of MSN makes me to select the webcam parameters, but it does not happen nothing, the screen remains black....
Has anyone ever happened this sort of thing to?
Has anyone got any idea about what to set for seeing the video stream webcam through MSN?
Thanks.
P.S.: I know that Skype is about to release its own software for videocall (the Skype software for telephone calls Skype is simply OUTSTANDING), but before then I would like to do videocalls with MSN....
