  1. Hi, I've been trying to process mpegs sourced from TiVo-To-Go for archiving to dvd using SVCD2DVD 2.0 RC9b Demo version. I have tried two different source files and each has resulted in a dvd that has video that stutters and has intermittent pixilization that was not evident in the source mpeg. This was tested and found on both a dvd player (Philips dvp642) and two different PC's.
The source mpeg was 480x480 resolution and I had read elsewhere that your software had been successfully employed in transforming such video content into a DVD authorable format. It is not useful to me, however, if the end product has defects in the video stream, so I am lothe to purchase the full version if I am unable to get the demo to work properly.
Any help that anyone could provide in getting this to work would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

My understanding is that Tivo produces transport streams and not program streams so S2D is not able to process such files. You can send me a small sample to investigate if you want.

If you would like me to look into the whole TiVo thing then upload a sample to:

    ftp://BetaTester:badger@ftp.svcd2dvdmpg.com:7676/TiVo

FYI: I have never heard of anyone using SVCD2DVD with TivO recordings before.
