    Thanks to Fry's and spare parts I just built a 4th computer for $160.
    Cheapo case, mobo/cpu combo, 512mb ram. Added the rest from spare parts including a Radeon 7000PCI. Just feels good to build a nice (sempron 2800) machine for not much cash.

    I have a love/hate relationship with that store but right now I'm feeling pretty good about them.

    I know what you mean. About every year I realize I have almost enough parts, HDs, CD drives, memory, video cards, etc., left over from previous builds to assemble a complete computer. I pick up a case, MB, inexpensive Sempron CPU and cooler and bring something to life like Frankenstein. Fortunately, someone is usually in need of a inexpensive computer and I cover my costs. I enjoy putting them together.
