My DVDRHD04 has been working properly with hacked firmware for the past week. I have copied two DVD's today and on the third, it stopped at 36 minutes. I tried the same movie again with the same results. I put in a different movie and started copying, tjhis time it stopped at 56 minutes. am using the same DVDR+W and have sucessfully copied these same movies before. ?What's up? I thought maybe overheating, but the first movie stopped at the same place twice.

are you sure your not pressing the record button two or three times on accident, enabling the automatic timer record function (is that what its called). Anyways, every second or third time you push record, it instead of recording forever it will record in 30 minute increments (depending on how many times you push it, it could record to a set mark and stop automatically).

It's called "One Touch Recording". Like solidsnake said, if you press the record button more than once, it will initiate this feature in 30min incriments. The ILO remotes are very sensitive to multiple presses. Make sure that you are not accidentally engaging the one touch feature.

Thats putting it mildly. The ILO is a very good recorder, but watch the presses
