  1. Do you remember counting the the days to it's premiere, buying the clothes, even the toys (when we were little). Waiting in line, the excitement when it started.... just for 2 hours later realize that it SUCKED big time!!!.

Does it seem familiar to you?. What was the movie you thought it was gonna rock and it ended being your biggest dissapointment??.

For me, I had a huge dissapointment with AI, I thoght it was going to be VERY different.

  3. Most sequels to greats, like Jurassic Park The Lost World for example. Remakes usually too.

    hi,

Lost World didn't live up the hype thats for sure.

Revolutions also was a BIG downer.

There were others but those were biggies.

  6. As a child I loved anything Gerry Anderson: Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Stingray, UFO and of course Thunderbirds.

So I really looked forward to the Thunderbirds movie, but it turned out to be a purile bore.

"Nightwatch" starring Ewen McGregor and Nick Nolte.

Of course, I should have seen it coming. It was originally slated for a theatrical release, but that was pulled and it was made a direct-to-video release.

I second that. The only movie I can remember in recent years.

  9. Matrix sequels were pretty bad, but I'd imagine the 2nd Star Wars prequel, something the clones or whatever it was called, is without doubt the biggest pile of shit ever served up to me in a cinema. Blair Witch was ******* crap too, but it only went on for an hour and a half rather than the, what seemed like, 2 days of star wars.

  10. Star Wars Ep 1 and 2 (the first 2 prequels).

Even with the extreme disappointment that was
epsiode 1, I was not prepared to see the woeful
mess that George spew forth with EP. 2.

I could not believe it could get worse. I was sadly
wrong. I felt ripped off even though I had a free
    ticket to see it.

  11. The Matrix sequels were utter crap. The Jackal also disapponited. As said earlier in this topic, most sequels and remakes disappoint.

Me too. I went with the simple hope of it being better than Menace and could barely believe what I had to sit through. To compound my misery the sheep in the audience applauded and one of the guys I went with exclaimed "that was good, much better that the first one !"

He has recently retracted that statement.

I still want a lightsabre though.

You'll get no argument from me on that one.

  14. Episodes 1 and 2 and the Matrix sequels for sure.

Also, Jurrasic Park 2 the Lost World was really lame.
Not that the first one was phenomenal, but the sequel was a major let down for me.
