  1. Hi everyone,

I know this topic has been covered before, but it's been a while so I thought I'd ask again in case there are any new methods. But is there any way to capture high-res stills in order to be used as custom labels? Are there better methods than using the capture function on players such as PowerDVD? I've tried using that function, but the image still seems a bit blurry.

    Thanks in advance,

    Spiffy

DVD is just 720x480/576. You can't get any highres from that.

You could search for images using google or I use http://outnow.ch/dvds/ , click on the movie, click on "die bilder" and click on the images and click on the "bild in originalgrösse seiz". Alien Predator example, http://outnow.ch/Media/Img/2004/AlienVsPredator/?i=movie%2E1%2F07%2Ejpg&w=1400&h=931&full=1&print=1

  3. Use Virtual Dub MP2 version. You may need to rip the DVD files to the HDD first to get around encryption. But you can search frame by frame through the video for the clearests part of the image before copying to clipboard and pasting into your photo editor.
