I am using PowerProducer 2 Gold in order to create a DVD
1. I have created a big number of *.ppp files and I want to add them to
make a movie. Is it possible to open several ppp files? Everytime I open
one the other closes, so I guess that it is impossible...
2. To overcome it I burned to the hard disc those ppp files as dvd files and
then i imported them as VOB files and combined them to different scenes.
3. Then I opened the combined files in order to add one to the other and complete the movie and Power Producer 2 Gold refuses to burn
them... it gets stuck at some point of the burning process.
4. I then cancel burning and get Error number 10003 or so - but it says
aborted process - that is to say - the error is that I cancelled the process.
5. What am I doing wrong?

1) Have you burned a dvd with this software before?
2) Did you upgrade the software via the Cyberlink web site? -
The .ppp files are Power Producer 2 Gold's project files and the program can only have one project open at a time.
When you capture video it is stored after transcoding is completed, in the ppwork folder as a .mpg 2 file, and you can add as many of those to a project as will fit on a DVD (either 4.7g or 8.5g with the latest patch) and create a DVD that way.
You can merge all the video files or create separate chapters for each clip.
PP 2 Gold has a pretty thin DVD authoring setup, so I capture video with it to get the .mpg 2 video and then use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to create the DVD.
The latest program patch fro the Cyberlink site lets PP2 Gold burn and author 8.5g DL DVDs.
