  1. After getting back from my hols, I've transfered all my video to pc, using Pinacle Studio 9, and burned the movies to DVDRW so I can see what they are like, but as I don't know how to use Studio 9 that well I don't know how to create Chapters (If that is what they are called, when you press the button that isn't the fast forward one) so I have to (at the moment) fast forward though the movie. I am under the impression (for some reason) that the chapters points are just in a text file of some sort, so I was wondering is there any free software out there that can modify my files on my hard drive to give my DVD chapters. Seens as I have the DVD files now on my HD I don't want to go through the whole re-authoring process again, as it takes a while on my pc.

Hope someone can help me, and thanks in advance.

    Regards.
    Paul.

    Free, I don't know.
But if you don't mind paying a few bucks, I think TMPGENC AUTHOR
is the best program around. Very easy to add chapters, and with one click
    you can select break points.
I've already had it for about a year, maybe there's something
else just as good now, but for me it's still my fav.

    good luck.
