I have TMPGEnc v2.02. I have loaded the SVCD NTSC template. I would like to use CBR and a rate of about 4000. The program has the editbox for bitrate enabled so that I can change it, but each time I do the program resets it to 2520.
Am I doing something wrong? Is 2520 a requirement of SVCD and I really shouldn't muck with it anyway.
BTW, the reaason that I am trying to increase the bitrate is so to try and get rid of a strange kind of halo effect around quickly moving object.
What am I doing wrong?
TIA
STeven

Steven,
2520 bitrate is standard for SVCD. HOwever, what your trying to do (I believe) is XSVCD. Furthermore, if you need to make changes on the TMPGEnc. First, load the SVCD template then load the "unlock" template, therefore, you'll be able to making your desire changes. Jordan
