  1. I have seen a similar post sometime ago in this FORUM . We are trying to convert 5 lectures we have in AVI format to mpeg1 and to do a DVD via Toast ( avoiding thus authoring with DSP3). The files play fine in the Qtime player (upgraded to 7.0) but the converted file (which by the way has an extension ff and not mpg) provides only the video stream and not the sound track.
Accoding to the info from the previous post on this issue related to lack of codecs , I don't know if the people who did the capture and video editing of these lectures compressed the data via DiVx or 3ivx, but in any case in our system we have both codecs (versions 5.1.0 and 4.5 respectively).

I would appreciate any feedback on this issue

    Thanks

  2. Post the process output to major4@mac.com
