    Hi, Im trying to convert an avi video to mp4 to reduce it in size to put it on my HTC Desire HD. When I load the avi into Mpeg Streamclip it only loads the first 1/3 or so of the video. I have checked the In and Out settings but its not that. If I load the video into Quick Time it all loads correctly. I'm using a Macbook Pro about 4 years old. Mpeg Streamclip is v1:9 ish.

    Try handbrake or avidemux.
