    i am taking vhs "store bought", and burning them to dvd on my computer
    i have heard that "store bought" vhs's contain something called "macrovision" that needs to be taken out

    i am wondering how to do this

    Hi TEFP,

    I'm no expert as I don't do VHS caps, but I remember reading that one way was to use a bit of kit called a "Time Base Corrector (TBC)". There may well be other ways...

  5. MCM electronics sells digital video stabilizers for $20 plus shipping. I've been using one for over a decade, it works fine.
