Try upgrading to 0.80. I believe this error comes from checking before the OS has finished writing. The latest version has a fix for it (basically it adds a sleep period before checking).

Had problems myself with all versions of DVD-Rebuilder even tried to upgrade to 0.80.

I'm using Cinema Craft Encoder also and always had problems in the rebuilding stage ( i never used the one-click solution ). Then i found somewhere in a forum ( I can't remeber where ) that CCE had problems encoding 1 frame AVS. So i went through all my files created by DVD-Rebuilder and re-run the ones with only one frame in TMPGEnc. After that the rebuilding stage was fine and I got a perfect backup of my movie.

    Good Luck

Sorry - never had this problem, although I don't think I've done a disk using 0.80 yet.

0.82 is out and mentions buffer overflows in the fix list. Might be worth a try. Otherwise go back to around 0.76, which does work.

  12. Most of the problems of Rebuilder are there because of bad configurations.

Use my installer, available at www.dvdrebuilder.com

... by the way... CCE (versions) 2.70 have some serious bugs... if you run into probems, use one of the free encoders or use versions (CCE) 2.50 or 2.66/2.67.

    keep it UP

I did one last night with CCE 2.67 and Rebuilder 0.82 (not 0.82a) with no problems. If it is choking because of a missing .m2v file, then the encode didn't go as planned. Is this a movie only or full disk ?

What can I say... more than 20.000 users use it... one that had problems with it (you)... not a bad average, don't you think?

From what I can see, most of the problems are related to CCE 2.70. Did you have this installed and then revert to 2.67 ?

I am using the free version of Rebuilder, if that helps.

    Update.
Just tried a movie only re-encode, and failed again at the rebuild stage, error 003, buffer....

keep your ideas coming, i wanna crack this.....

  19. Well... use the installer
Don't make any pre-process with the source.
In extreme cases use the option "Special Error Processing" under Options Menu... note: just in extreme cases of error 3 and 4 on Rebuild phase... if it works... don't forget to unselect it again.

  25. I am having the same error with "M2V file exists"
tried using two different versions of CCE SP.. 2.5 and the latest.
I am also using the latest build of the pro version with my $10 donation thank you...

I just downloaded the installer for the free version... (haven't tried it yet) is there an installer for pro version... and what is the big difference anyways between the two?

  26. There will be an Installer for the PRO version (maybe today).
and what is the big difference anyways between the two?
What do you mean? differences between installers or the Rebuilder versions?
If you are referring to the Installer... my advice is to wait... it IS different.

  27. I have been trying to mess with this software for like 2 days straight... I can't for the life of me get it to work with CCE...

The "M2V file exists" error pops up with the freeware installer and I am lost now... I want to use CCE with this considering all the hype I read about the results.

I am doing a test with the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back.

I did one in DVD Shrink, Nero Recode 2, and now I am trying to use DVD Rebuilder with CCE to see the difference.

Is this version liciensed, demo, demo hacked, pro hacked?
