Can anybody recommend a good component video A/V switch? I don't have enough component video inputs on my home theater tuner - I will need to buy a switch with 2-3 inputs, but there are quite a few models out there. Does anybody have any experience with this?
    Thanks!

I have the Sony switcher which works great. If you need a switcher with component video and optical in/out then do a search for the "Audio Authority Signal Sensing Digital A/V Input Selector Model 1154"

That's S-video and composite, not component.

  4. Well, will it still perform the same functions, considering they're the same number of cables?

  5. For component Video and optical audio automatic switching this is what I use.

Thanks a lot - I'll check these out. Bob W - I take it you don't have any problem with signal degradation?

Ebay, all switchers and mixers are dirt cheap and most are in good condition, usually just overflow from broadcasting studios

Yeah I have the same switch and use it to combine three component video outputs into a single output to my HDTV.
