Look to the left under Convert to convert the files, from a web format to mpg. Then look at the section on Author, create DVD compliant files to burn on a DVD.

It depends what you have. Bodyslide's advice is as good as any - use GSpot or AVICodec to identify what sort of file you have and what codecs it uses. Then check What is DVD ? (top left) and see if the file you have is already DVD-compliant. If so, you can move straight to Authoring. If not, then you need to convert the file so it is DVD-compliant. http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm should be able to assist you with most conversions.

... Or if you don't want to think about the process at all, you could try an all-in-crap-one tool that just requires you to drop in your file, and it'll do the rest. Be warned though that YMMV with these programs.
    If in doubt, Google it.
