  1. I converted an AVI file to DVD MPEG2 with the intention of burning a DVD in Toast. When I moved the converted MPEG file into the Toast window I was notified that there was no audio in the encoded MPEG file. When I went to check the original AVI file, I discovered that it plays fine (picture & audio) using DivX Player but when playing it in Quicktime there also was no audio.

Is there a separate audio file that I'm just not seeing or do I need to adjust the audio settings in ffmepX in order for audio to be encoded along with the video?

    Thanks for the help.

    Beth

  2. If you don't hear audio in Quicktime when playing an AVI file then you should upgrade to the latest www.divx.com codec.

  3. Thank you, thank you, Major. I downloaded the Codec and everything is working PERFECTLY![/code]
