I've read the capture guides, but I'm having a problem with the audio
    portion of my captures.

The sound has an airish, open-air type of low hiss. It's not very noticeable, but I was wondering if anyone has a tip on improving the sound.

I'm capturing according to the audio instructions in the guide.

    Thanks,

The audio problems I have experienced require a full driver reinstall to correct. But those problems were major.
