  1. HI Folks,

    just wondering if anyone has seen this issue before;

    TMPGEnc DVD Author and I have various divx, avi and mpg files.
    I use DVD Author to create my DVD with menu. I manually set up the chapters and create my menu. I save this to a different directory and it seems like the entire process is 100% successfully.

    Out of 15 of the files I've created DVD's for, about 4 or 5 of them have a problem in my DVD player when the disc is first inserted and the menu becomes visible. The entire menu screen just starts scrolling and never stops.

    - I don't have the animated menus turned on. First I thought this was the issue.
    - It doesn't matter what file type this happens with; I've seen it with Divx and avi and mpg files.
    - I've tried different media and that doesn't matter
    - My DVD player hooked up to my tv set has the issue, however if I play this DVD in my computer dvd player, no issue at all.
    - even just viewing the vob file everything looks fine.
    - I've also tried recording the dvd at a slower speed, 2x instead of 4x...

    I can't find this issue anywhere and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue?

    Thanks in advance, definately appreciate your time!

    Could it possibly be because some files are PAL, and either your DVD Player or your TV is not multisystem ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Jimmalenko,

    thanks for the reply and I'm not sure? Is there anyway to tell about the format of the files I have?

    appreciate your time!
