Just wondering, if their was a faster way to burn dvd's from my computer. I have dvd's non-comercial that i have recorded from my standalone that i wanted to make extra copies for. Just wondering if there was a quicker way then having to burn my dvd's onto the hard drive then inserting a new blank, and then burning from the hard drive onto the new blank. I am using a pioneer 107D writer and nero software.

  3. Burning from the hard drive is a pretty fast way to do it as far as I'm concerned.
The only real way to speed it up is to get a faster burner and use fast media ie 8x/16x.
I use DVDdecrypter to burn my ISO images from the hard drive and using 8x media, can burn in approx 7-8mins depending on file size of ISO images.

If you're doing on the fly copying make sure the READ SPEED is DOUBLE of the burn speed or you'll end up with coasters.

No, I dont copy on the fly because I find it easier to write ISO images which are stored on my hard drive.

As I mentioned earlier, your best bet would be to use a fast burner and fast media and burn ISO images using DVDdecrypter - burns of 7-8mins are fast enough for me and I have not yet produced any coasters - but I dont burn faster than 8x.
