I'm a newbie to DVD but I'm not a newbie to computer. I've been trying to make a mixed compilation dvd of live concerts but I'm not having much luck. I've been getting great help from this site but nothing seems to work for me. I finally got it to work but here's the problem. I used DVD Shrink 3.2 to rip and I used Power Producer 2 to do my final movie. The disc burned and works fine but the mix of 4:3 and 16:9 don't come out right. Is there any way I can do a mixed DVD and keep the ratios?

if you want to mix 4:3 and 16:9 you must make separate titlesets/tracks. does powerproducer support it?
tmpgenc dvd author and dvd-lab pro supports it. -
Thank you for your quick response. I don't know if Power Producer supports this, I'll have to research a little further. As for tmpgenc, I tried using it but it would not accept all the tracks. The message would say that the track is not compatible with the previous track. Maybe I have to change some settings in the program ? I also tried Nero but it would not burn for me. After all my work was done and the movie was ready to burn, Nero would write about 10 minutes and then give me an error. Could this be because of the different ratios ?

What Baldrick is trying to tell you is that you have to convert each file seperately and then use an authoring program to put them all on the same DVD.
I use VSO DivXToDVD to convert to VIDEO_TS folders and then use TDA to create chapters and menus and burn to DVD. -
Just author them in DVDLab Pro.
Put each video into it's own VTS, and bridge them.Cheers, Jim
