Dear friends,
I'm using TmpgEnc to encode avi files in MPEG2 files.
If I'm converting 2 hours to MPEG2 format, I've to wait 4 hours to finish the job.
What is the better (speed) soft to encode to MPG (VCD, SVCD, DVD) ?
I hear about Mainconcept!!!
Thanks and sorry about my bad english.

yep, try mainconcept mpeg encoder or canopus procoder or cinemacraft basic or maybe an all-in-one solution like divxtodvd. they are all faster than tmpgenc.
