RJTech RJ-1500DVXII March 14, 2005 Firmware Update

The purpose of this new firmware will enhance the below main capabilities:

1. Make the subtitle "FONT" clear and easier to read.
2. Make the subtitle show in 2 phrases instead of 3 phrases
3. Add new codec, can read New "Nero MP4" format
4. Can read new DVD-9 formats

I have tested both AAC 2.0 and 5.1 channel Nero Digital with good results.

Can you tell me how you encode 5.1 nerodigital mp4 file?
In my testing, this player can only play ASP/Standard.

In the nerorecod2, only the ASP/standard is playable in this
RJTECH 1500DVX-II .

However, there is no 5.1 in ASP/Standard. You can only use stereo aac.

Be careful using this I updated my player, it looked like it was progressing normally then I go a write failed message toward the end, I turned off the player back on and things were dodgy. DVD Playback was skewed and the remote and door close buttons did not work. SO I decided to try again. This time it completed successfuly. I turned off the player then back on, and the unit would not any longer power up. So it's completely Dead now. I cannot find any reset options so I killed the player with this update.
