I have converted a lot of old footage of my daughter's early years and created a DVD with 4 seperate 'episodes' on it that I want to now extract to MPG or AVI file for playing on my newly acquired Buffalo Link Theatre (for those that do not know, a Buffalo Link Theatre is a set top box that plays video onto the TV that has been streamed over my LAN in my house off a PC hard drive).
I have been able to use Super DVD Ripper software to extract one piece of video off a DVD, in the case where there is only one show on there, to a AVI file and it works fine. But when there are multiple episodes on one DVD, it will only get the first one. I tried using VOB2MPG but in testing this, I found that if there are multiple audio tracks, it gets confused as to which one to use on the Videos and therefore isn't a solution either.
What is the best way to extract video/audio from a DVD when there are multiple episodes on the one DVD, to either MPG or AVI file format? DivX/XVid is also fine for output as well.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Vlad
