    Does anybody know how to convert avi file that has a mpeg layer 3 as audio using tmpgenc?

    When I convert using that program, I can only get the picture and no sound.

    Are there a way to convert using tmpgenc?and how?

    Decompress the .mp3 to .wav.

    Then convert with TMPG.

    Are you sure that you have the sound setting set correctly? You can set it to have WAV, AVI, or no sound.
