  1. i have 1 file avi format converted to mpeg using tmpgenc plus ... problem that i have is i wanna shrink this mpeg file a minimum as can. So i can fit 2 or more mpeg file converted from avi to 1 cd. any suggestion ? sorry.. my english is poor.

  2. Lower the bitrate. (look in the Encode Mode box, settings button).

    Try using avi2mpeg2 (aka bbmpeg)

    It will accept avi files packed into non proprietry codecs .

    Hit add , find avi , hit start encoding , hit settings , go to general settings .

    You should find a box for mpeg , and down below is an mquant value , 4 is default , run it for a minute in the encode process .

    After 2 or 3 minutes you'll get an idea as to the final output of the video file size , not including the audio .

    If it appears to big you can change the mquant value to a higher setting , but I dont recommend going past 5 or the video suffers .

  6. An m1v is the video only portion for VCD.
    If you select "System (Video+Audio)" it will create the proper mpg for you to burn to VCD.
    Select the same avi as your audio source.
