I have started to do a few films from avi files and whilst going through its process it states full d1.I did read some time ago on here what is was and what was the difference between that and half d1 but cant find it now.
Please if possible can someone post a link of where to find it so i can just get to understand of what it is doing it for.
ALSO
On the author button the default is set to yes use menu and yes burn disc,is there and option to change both of these to no without selecting it every time.
Thanks for the help once again.

Full and Half D1 refer to video sizing. Full D1 being 720 or 704x480(576) and Half D1 being 352x480(576). The theory being at lower bitrates you use Half D1 for improved quality as you are spreading the bitrate through fewer pixels.
