Problems With Installed PV233 Card

Installed a PV233 card in a 1.5 Ghz system running WIN ME, I can play MPEG with the PV Player, the PV233 will not pick up th TV Signal, I have been through all the setting (Tuner, AV/ S-Video, Cable, Air) etc etc, still can not get the card to pick up the TV signal. I have a cable system. Did not have any problems with the install, no error messages. Just can't pick up the TV signal. Tried a ATI wonder Card and it picked up the TV wiht no problems. Assistance please.

The tuner on this card seems to be pretty fussy. Mine often complains about loss of signal, though never while recording.

Did you select the right country setup during the install? I'm pretty sure that defines the frequencies the tuner will be setup for. Beyond that, the only thing I can think of is to try using the manual tuning and see if you can get it to tune anything at all.

Re-Installed just to double check the country code--it defaulted to USA, which is what I wanted, also tried the manual settings, no luck, if I can't get it to work, will send back for replacement, many thanks for your response....
