    i want to make home movies of the kids and burn onto dvd's

    i have a PC with dvd burner

    no capture card



    Do i get a cam corder that has that digital passthru and use that or

    do i get a cam corder and a capture card


    should i look at a DVD cam Corder ?

    all suggestions are welcome

    A Camcorder and a firewire card is all you should need.
