    Hi
I am searching the answer to the exactly same problem. In the meantime I use RealPlayer to watch my movies on TV, which works fine. Please let me know whenyou have figured out a solution to this problem. I'll do the same.

  4. I have a Redeon VE and this is what I did to fix it. Note: I have not been able to run on the monitor and on TV at the same time with good quality...

I went to the advanced settings on the display tab. Chose the DISPLAYS tab and did the following:

    1) If I want to watch on TV only I put Monitor as secondary and TV as primary.
    2) If I want to disable the TV then I reversed #1.
    3) If I want both then I put both as primary. This played great on TV but my monitor was resized and the picture was off screen.

Another tip is to save these profiles and then attach hot-keys to them. I used shift F1 and F2 and this worked out great!

    Hope this helps...
