Ok, well no success attaching my photo...UGH!
OK, I have something called Ace Mega Codecs pack, then I go to utilities, then over to VS Conv and VS RIP...and I figured out how to use the rip, but what next?
I also see G-spot, Graph edit....would any of those help? -
Ok, after I rip them, I get files named .srt .idx .sub
What do I do with these next?
Anyone? -
What are you trying to do? Is there a question anywhere in the near future?

I guess my question ends here...I dunno where to go with this stuff...
now I have used DVD shrink and have VOB files, and they don't seem to be working in my movie maker program....
thanx for the replies! I appreciate it! -
If you have created VOB/IFO/BUP files out of DVDShrink... simply take these files and author them to a DVD-/+R disc. Make sure they are inside a video_ts folder and that an audio_ts folder exists also. If all you want to do is get these to play on a dvd player... that's it!

For that, all you need to do is save your individual DVDShrink files into separate folders (this keeps things simple and organized). You can then add them separately into your authoring programs. Of course, if you are using something like Windows Movie Maker or something like that, you will have to first convert the .vob files into .mpg files. I'm not too sure if Windows Movie Maker will take .vob files as is. I've used DVD2AVI for this before, but you may want to consult the guides section (on the left) to confirm this. Usually, when I create a project DVD from different DVD titlesets, I use TMPGEnc DVD Author. It allows you to import either .mpg or DVD Video titles. The only other advice I can give is... read, read, read.

Well I went and d/l'd DVD author, and it seems pretty simple, but its not letting me convert them. Its saying they are to big...so I am playing around with it, and doing lots of reading!

If the output size from TMPGEnc DVD Author is too large for DVD-R, just ignore the warnings about overly large project sizes... let DVD Author do it's thing, then feed the output into DVDShrink.
