    Hi all,

OK, I've read the section about this software here, but I'd still like to confirm two informations that might be wrong please :

    1) This site says that this software DOESN'T HAVE a AC3 encoder, I mean, if I import a LPCM (Wave) file into it it WON'T convert it to AC3...IS IT TRUE PLEASE ?

    2) This site says it accepts DTS audio...IS IT REALLY TRUE ?

    Thanks,

  2. 1) It DOES have an ac3 encoder, however it is for DD 2 channel only (not 5.1)...However, it does 'accept' 5.1 ac3. In other words, if you have a LPCM wav that is stereo, it will convert that to 2 channel ac3; but if you have a 6 channel wav it will not convert that to 5.1. What I mean when I say it 'accepts' it is....if you have an ac3 file that is allready in 5.1, it has no problems authoring that (just drop it on the timeline of a video track).
    2) Not sure about this, but I do remember seeing somewhere that it does in fact accept dts (just like it accepts 5.1 ac3).
